Positioned at the heart of Hollywood Park, adjacent to SoFi Stadium, The Meeting Spot was conceived as an open-air food and beverage destination that brings energy, community, and hospitality together in one vibrant setting. Designed with a spacious 160-seat layout, the venue blends casual seating with a dedicated area for live music, creating a flexible environment where guests can gather before or after events or simply enjoy a relaxed evening outdoors. The challenge centered on navigating the complexities of health department requirements within an open-air concept, where traditional kitchen and service conditions are less defined. Through close collaboration with the client and project partners, the team developed solutions that maintained both compliance and design intent, guiding the project through approvals without compromising the guest experience. The result is a lively, community-driven destination featuring locally sourced ingredients, handcrafted cocktails, regional breweries, and California-focused wines, delivering a seamless and engaging experience in one of Los Angeles’ most dynamic entertainment districts.
